| Abel-Brown is owned and run by Louise Brown. She completed her legal studies at the College of Law in Guildford. Louise qualified as a solicitor in 1993 with Hammond Suddards in London, a major national law firm. |

| Louise has taken a multitude of claims to the County Court, High Court, Employment Tribunal, the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the Court of Appeal. |

| Louise recently took a case to the Court of Appeal, this being the case of Keeley v Fosroc International Ltd [2006] All ER (D) 65 where she acted for the Claimant. The Court of Appeal reversed the decision of the High Court and gave judgment in favour of the Claimant. This was an important case dealing with the effect of company handbooks, and when their provisions are incorporated into the employee's contract of employment. |
